Franchisees Bret Freeman, Esq. & Dr. Timothy Hembree recognized the aging community in Pinellas County, FL and the need for home care in those regions. They are focused on making a positive impact on the lives of their clients and Caregivers. They are driven by their commitment to making a difference and revolutionizing the standard for home care in the communities they serve.
Between the two, they hold two Bachelors degrees, two Masters degrees; one PhD; one Juris Doctorate and law license; and one medical degree and medical license. Collectively, they have 25 (+) years of professional business Management experience; 15 years in medicine and the management of medical personnel; and, approximately 7 years of legal and complex litigation experience. Bret and Tim bring a wealth of experience, from various industries and disciplines, to the Nurse Next Door, Pinellas location. As a doctor owned and operated home health care company, they plan to deliver a high level of quality skilled and non-skilled care to the Pinellas community, packaged in Happier Aging!

Bret, Tim and their team are ready to do everything they can to put a smile on the faces of their clients while helping them age happily and independently in the comforts of their own homes. What if I need to speak to someone after business hours?
Our Care Services Center is open 24/7. Call anytime, and one of our Care Services Specialists will be happy to assist you.
When should we consider 24-hour home care?
Use this list to help you decide if continuous monitoring is something you should consider:
- The person doesn’t sleep through the night (or gets up more than 2-3 times per night).
- The person has difficulty moving around and is at a high risk of falls.
- The person was recently (or is about to be) discharged from the hospital and needs constant monitoring.
- The person’s spouse or relative is exhausted from helping day and night.

How much does Nurse Next Door cost?
Nurse Next Door's services vary in price depending on the level of care required and the Nurse Next Door Care team that services your area. To get a better idea of pricing in your area, speak to one of our Care Services Specialists—we're open any time, 24/7.
We also offer a complimentary Caring Consult™, during which one of our care designers will help you determine the amount of care you may require. We'll then work with you to balance your budget and needs and find a home care option for you.
Can I trial Nurse Next Door or do I have to sign a long-term contract?
You are not locked into a long-term contract as a Nurse Next Door client.
To try out Nurse Next Door, just contact us to book a complimentary, no-obligation Caring Consult™. One of our care designers will visit your home to assess your needs and design a care plan with you, including frequency and duration of care.
Are your home care services only for seniors?
No. We provide home care services to people of all ages. While our specialty is providing Happier Aging® experiences to seniors, we also assist with disability care, post-operative care, and more for children and adults.

Will I have the same Care Team all the time?
At Nurse Next Door, we strive to provide consistent care with regularly assigned caregivers. If your Caregiver isn’t available, we will ensure a suitable replacement that meets your unique needs.
Does Nurse Next Door conduct a background check for Caregivers?
Yes, all Nurse Next Door Caregivers are carefully screened with criminal background checks, vulnerable sector checks and reference checks. We verify our Caregivers' educational credentials upon hire and ensure, on an annual basis, that every Nurse is registered and in good standing with their respective College of Nurses.
