Franchisee Nicole with over a decade of experience in managerial and leadership roles within the service industry is motivated to bring best quality of home health care to the Pentiction, BC area. As a full-time single mother in Kamloops with her family far away, she took on various serving jobs while raising her child alone, always striving for more. Once her son was more independent, she started as a part-time receptionist and quickly advanced to an HR/Scheduler role. With the guidance of a mentor, she gained valuable knowledge about labor laws and the challenges in care facilities.
Meeting Dayna Frame at Nurse Next Door was a turning point, as she found her purpose in ensuring caregivers felt valued, which she believed would lead to better care for clients. With her team, Nicole provides quality services that go beyond basic home care. By infusing Nurse Next Door's Happier Aging philosophy into every visit, she is ensuring that seniors are living their best lives and celebrating aging in the familiar comforts of home.
Nicole believes that there is a significant need in the community to support seniors who have spent their lives building their homes and shouldn't have to leave them. Her own personal experiences with her father-in-law and her mother further solidified the need for home care in her community.

What if I need to speak to someone after business hours?
Our Care Services Center is open 24/7. Call anytime, and one of our Care Services Specialists will be happy to assist you.
When should we consider 24-hour home care?
Use this list to help you decide if continuous monitoring is something you should consider:
- The person doesn’t sleep through the night (or gets up more than 2-3 times per night).
- The person has difficulty moving around and is at a high risk of falls.
- The person was recently (or is about to be) discharged from the hospital and needs constant monitoring.
- The person’s spouse or relative is exhausted from helping day and night.

How much does Nurse Next Door cost?
Nurse Next Door's services vary in price depending on the level of care required and the Nurse Next Door Care team that services your area. To get a better idea of pricing in your area, speak to one of our Care Services Specialists—we're open any time, 24/7.
We also offer a complimentary Caring Consult™, during which one of our care designers will help you determine the amount of care you may require. We'll then work with you to balance your budget and needs and find a home care option for you.
Can I trial Nurse Next Door or do I have to sign a long-term contract?
You are not locked into a long-term contract as a Nurse Next Door client.
To try out Nurse Next Door, just contact us to book a complimentary, no-obligation Caring Consult™. One of our care designers will visit your home to assess your needs and design a care plan with you, including frequency and duration of care.
Are your home care services only for seniors?
No. We provide home care services to people of all ages. While our specialty is providing Happier Aging® experiences to seniors, we also assist with disability care, post-operative care, and more for children and adults.

Will I have the same Care Team all the time?
At Nurse Next Door, we strive to provide consistent care with regularly assigned caregivers. If your Caregiver isn’t available, we will ensure a suitable replacement that meets your unique needs.
Does Nurse Next Door conduct a background check for Caregivers?
Yes, all Nurse Next Door Caregivers are carefully screened with criminal background checks, vulnerable sector checks and reference checks. We verify our Caregivers' educational credentials upon hire and ensure, on an annual basis, that every Nurse is registered and in good standing with their respective College of Nurses.
