Before becoming the owner of Nurse Next Door-Frontenac, Lanark & Seaway Valley, Patrick Campeau had already been involved in the healthcare industry for over a decade! He worked in the medical supplies distribution industry, with a focus on Seniors Living facilities and customers. Managing the Eastern Canada regional sales team, the focus was always to strive for distinct solutions and funding models that would satisfy varying needs of customers from Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes! With a strong background in sales and leadership, Patrick has gotten to interact with many seniors and those who provide care for them through his work. His grandparents have both stayed at nursing homes and the experiences have really made him reflect on alternative solutions for seniors. Patrick knew he wanted to make a difference in people's lives, and so by combining his professional career and personal experience, home care was the perfect fit!
Patrick believes that our Frontenac region, like many others, have an alarming level of senior's unmet needs. This encompasses physical & personal care, as well as psychological & emotional perspectives. The healthcare system and the public funding can only do so much and has limitations. People unfortunately are not aware that services and solutions such as Nurse Next Door exist. We are extremely pleased to be able to extend alternatives and choices to our seniors and their families!

What if I need to speak to someone after business hours?
Our Care Services Center is open 24/7. Call anytime, and one of our Care Services Specialists will be happy to assist you.
When should we consider 24-hour home care?
Use this list to help you decide if continuous monitoring is something you should consider:
- The person doesn’t sleep through the night (or gets up more than 2-3 times per night).
- The person has difficulty moving around and is at a high risk of falls.
- The person was recently (or is about to be) discharged from the hospital and needs constant monitoring.
- The person’s spouse or relative is exhausted from helping day and night.

How much does Nurse Next Door cost?
Nurse Next Door's services vary in price depending on the level of care required and the Nurse Next Door Care team that services your area. To get a better idea of pricing in your area, speak to one of our Care Services Specialists—we're open any time, 24/7.
We also offer a complimentary Caring Consult™, during which one of our care designers will help you determine the amount of care you may require. We'll then work with you to balance your budget and needs and find a home care option for you.
Can I trial Nurse Next Door or do I have to sign a long-term contract?
You are not locked into a long-term contract as a Nurse Next Door client.
To try out Nurse Next Door, just contact us to book a complimentary, no-obligation Caring Consult™. One of our care designers will visit your home to assess your needs and design a care plan with you, including frequency and duration of care.
Are your home care services only for seniors?
No. We provide home care services to people of all ages. While our specialty is providing Happier Aging® experiences to seniors, we also assist with disability care, post-operative care, and more for children and adults.

Will I have the same Care Team all the time?
At Nurse Next Door, we strive to provide consistent care with regularly assigned caregivers. If your Caregiver isn’t available, we will ensure a suitable replacement that meets your unique needs.
Does Nurse Next Door conduct a background check for Caregivers?
Yes, all Nurse Next Door Caregivers are carefully screened with criminal background checks, vulnerable sector checks and reference checks. We verify our Caregivers' educational credentials upon hire and ensure, on an annual basis, that every Nurse is registered and in good standing with their respective College of Nurses.
